Regional Director

General Description

The Regional Director is responsible for coordinating the Research Associates (RA) Program within a specific area(s). The Regional Director will serve as a liaison, an advisor, and an advocate for present and future Affiliates. The Regional Director assures the RA Program runs smoothly, efficiently and complies with the goals of the program. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and orient hospitals as NARAP Affiliate Partners

  • Act as primary point of contact for Affiliates

  • Educate, advise, and assist in developing the RA program at Affiliates

  • Provide standard guidelines to Affiliates to maintain consistency among all RA programs

  • Support RA trainings with up-to-date resources

  • Maintain a constant communication stream with Affiliates to relay information about the program and facilitate a long-term relationship

  • Analyze feedback systems in order to measure success of their RA program

  • Maintain communications with other regional directors on a regular basis purpose

  • Report the National Affiliate director on new and current Affiliates

  • Maintain and expand Affiliate base in the assigned area(s).

  • Engage Affiliates to participate in NARAP sponsored clinical research and data projects

  • Observe the terms of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and encourage Affiliates to combine mutual interests and resources to further clinical research studies.  

  • Assist the National Affiliate Director to create a community network connecting all medical institutions.

  • Assist with medical sections on grant applications as needed

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Compassionate and understanding nature

  • Proactive problem solver

 

Education

M.D. or D.O. degree with certified completion of a residency in emergency medicine.
